Examinations:

The course is self-paced to enable students to learn about module 1-4 at an individual pace, and ends with a quiz and a reflective assignment, both to be passed (max 3 attempts) before starting the next module. Module 5 ends with oral exams in groups of three students in week 50 and 51 (re-exams in week 2). There will be time-slots available in Canvas calendar and more info posted later on how to sign up for these time-slots.

Learning activities:

This is a mostly self-paced, asynchronous course, which implies that the learning activities in the course include video and reading material, as well as asynchronous discussion via a discussion forum. There will be individual assignments in the form of quizzes and discussion submission, as well as a live conversation/discussion with a small group of peers and teachers. Additionally, there will be two (not mandatory) open office hours per week with teachers. The first two in week 45 (the 4th at 8.30-9.30, and the 5th at 16.30-17.30) will also be course welcoming sessions, and we will have these open office hours sessions the same days and times until week 51. We will use BTH Zoom workplace license for online meetings and the room https://bth.zoom.us/j/64054266324 for online sessions.

The learning material consist of the Sustainability Handbook written by Robèrt et al. (ISBN 9789144115955),  which is highly recommended that you get your hands on before the course starts. You can find it online (paperback or e-book) at Studentlitteratur.se or Bokus.com. Here is a manual for how to purchase it at Bokus as the website is only available in Swedish (currently not available as an e-book). The book is also used as course literature in some of our other SSD related courses. We will additionally in Canvas provide you with electronic reading material and links/references.
