The primary teachers in this course Henrik Ny, Sven Borén, and Andreas Olsson warmly welcome you to this new online course about sustainable energy systems. The first roll call meeting will take place online at Zoom https://bth.zoom.us/j/64099944058 the 28th of March between 15.00-16.00 (CET). There will be recurring teacher-led online interactive seminars on Mondays the same time in the same Zoom room. These seminars will be recorded and uploaded to Canvas. Students are expected to study up on relevant learning material ahead of each online seminar. All learning materials will be released a week ahead of its respective online seminar.

The course is based on a generic approach for strategic sustainable development. Basic knowledge in this area will be examined in the oral exam planned in course week 3. Completion of grades FX/UX is offered within 6 weeks from the date of all examinations. More information about examinations can be found in the course syllabus. Grading criteria for examinations that are graded A-F will be published in respective assignment on Canvas.

Learning management system:

Canvas is an online learning management system that is used by all programs and courses on campus and online at BTH. In Canvas, you will find all information about regarding courses including recorded lectures, lecture notes, assignments, discussion forums, and quizzes. As a student at BTH, you have access to the e-meeting service Zoom. Equipment:

BTH require all students to use their own computers for use in the studies, not only on lectures but in other learning activities and in the communication with teachers and other students. Many of the information sources and the literature at BTH library are only available online. You also need access to web or built-in camera, headset with microphone, and a reliable internet connection for online education.
